1688 Tegaderm™ IV Advanced Dressing provides safe wear up to 7 days for CVC’s and for the life of the PIV catheter. The 1688 Dressing is used for I.V. and central line catheter securement by preventing edge shift. The dressing is flexible with patient movement while staying in place. Moisture is allowed to escape while contaminants are kept out. Easy to apply and remove, the 1688 Advanced IV Dressings offer superior catheter securement, longer wear time and gentle removal.
Tegaderm 1688 Advanced IV Dressing is manufactured by 3M along with many other versions of the transparent Tegaderm Dressings. Other sizes of the Tegaderm IV Advanced Dressing include the 1683 IV Dressing, the 1689 IV Dressing and the 1685 Oval IV Dressing. Note that the 1688 dressing does not come with a notch. while the other Advanced IV dressings do.
