Smith & Nephew Intrasite® Hydrogel Wound Dressing (8 g Applicator) | 66027308
Intrasite Gel is Smith & Nephew’s amorphous hydrogel wound dressing, designed to support autolytic debridement and moist wound healing across a broad range of wound types. Delivered in a pre filled 8 gram applicator, it provides a controlled, easy to apply dose of hydrogel directly to the wound bed without the need for additional tools or transfer steps.
How Intrasite Gel Works
Intrasite Gel gently rehydrates necrotic and sloughy tissue, creating the moist environment needed for the body’s own enzymes to break down and remove devitalized tissue through autolytic debridement. As the gel absorbs wound exudate, it softens and loosens slough, making it easier to remove at dressing changes without traumatizing the surrounding wound bed. In the later stages of wound closure, Intrasite Gel continues to support healing by maintaining the optimal moisture balance at the wound surface.
