- Select the proper size of the orthopedic boot for the patient.
- Place the patient’s foot in the boot so that heel is suspended over the cavity.
- Secure the foot drop boot with Velcro straps.
How to wash the foot drop boot?
- Remove cover.
- Do not launder the inner splint.
- The foot drop boot cover may be laundered and dried using standard white goods procedures.
- Do not wash or dry at temperatures above 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
- The use of bleach is not recommended.
