What causes fungal infections?
- Over-hydration of the skin is caused when moisture from sweat or incomplete drying gets trapped between skin folds
- Increased friction between opposing skin folds
- The overhydrated stratum corneum drags, rather than gliding, over opposing skin surfaces
Things to consider before using Medline Phytoplex Antifungal Powder
- Gently cleanse and thoroughly dry skin between folds
- Minimize friction between skin folds by gently separating them
- Use moisture-wicking fabrics or other products that trap moisture away from the skin and allow for skin folds to separate from each other
