How to apply the Velpeau?
- Unfasten hook and loop closures on straps and insert arm into pouch with elbow in the pouch corner.
- Bring strap across back and over the opposite shoulder.
- Run strap through plastic round loop; adjust to desired length with slide buckle adjustment.
- Press hook and loop closure against the strap to secure.
Note: Soft foam pad should be positioned at neck and shoulder for greater comfort. - To help secure the shoulder, bring the bottom strap around the waist, adjust length with slide buckle, and secure the closure.
Advanced Orthopedics Velpeau – Care Instructions
- Hand wash in cold water with mild soap.
- Wrap in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring).
- Air-dry away from heat.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not bleach.
