How to use MIC-KEY Extension Set By Avanos Medical?

1. Remove the plug from the MIC-KEY feeding tube to reveal the MIC-KEY feeding tube anti-refluxvalve
2. For gastric decompression or enteral feeding, connect the Secur-lok Extension Set connector by aligning the black line on the connector with the black line on the MIC-KEY. Lock into place by rotating it Clockwise 3/4 turn. Flush the Secur-lok Extension Set and the MIC-KEY with warm water (10 ml for adults, 3-5 ml for children). Check for ease of flushing
3. After feeding or decompression, flush the Secur-lok Extension Set and the MIC-KEY with 5-10 ml of warm water
4. To disconnect the Secur-lok Extension Set from the MIC-KEY rotate the extension set connector Counter-Clockwise until the black line on the MIC-KEY aligns with black line on the Extension Set. Gently remove the connector from the MIC-KEY. Replace the plug into the MIC-KEY 
5. After each use, wash the Secur-lok. Extension Set with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly
