How to Use Hely and Weber Knuckle Orthosis?
Boxers Fracture Application
- Apply the brace, wrapping the shortest strap around the little and ring fingers. Make sure to slide the hand up so the curves in the brace match the mid-hand crease and the wrist
- Secure the middle strap.
- Secure the wrist strap.
- Finished application
- Optional: Form stay to fit
Option A: If there is pressure on the ulnar styloid, you can adjust the dorsal stay.
Option B: Hold the dorsal stay between the index finger and thumb directly over the ulnar styloid. Bend the stay to accommodate the ulnar styloid. This will relieve the pressure - Finished application with an extra bend for ulnar styloid pressure relief
Radial Gutter Application
- Apply the brace, wrapping the shortest strap around the index and middle fingers, first.
- Secure the middle strap
- Secure the wrist strap
- Finished application
Note: This application uses a right-hand brace for a left-hand injury. Use a left hand brace for a right-hand injury
Metacarpal Fracture Application
- Apply the brace by putting a small finger through the hole. Secure the middle and ring fingers with the distal strap

How to Wash Hely & Weber Knuckle Orthosis?
- Hand-wash using mild soap
- Rinse thoroughly
- Air dry only
- Do not tumble dry
- Warnings
- The device will not prevent or eliminate the risk of injury
- Do not over-tighten
- The device should not be worn by persons with known allergies to neoprene
- If swelling, pain, skin irritation, or an unusual reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional
