DescriptionElastiant Veterinary Tape is an elastic adhesive bandage suitable for medium support or compression. It is the perfect bandage for securing trunk and limb support and compression bandaging. Ideal for holding wound dressings in place with no risk of slipping. Elastiant’s weft-inserted construction (not knitted or woven) provides enhanced strength and stability along with improved tensile strength, tear resistance, puncture resistance, softness and comfort (composition: 96% cotton). Indications • To secure limbs and medical devices • Compression of dressings • Post-operative support Product Benefits • Control over tension—suitable where variation in tension is required (for the application of a pressure gradient or directional tension for correct positioning) • Improved drapability • High-quality extensive cloth provides superior stretch and regain—allows firm, controlled compression • Stronger, porous adhesives help prevent skin maceration • Fluffy non-fray edges prevent the bandage from marking the skin • Soft, lighter, low-profile cloth • Easy to apply—center line to guide and remove
