Indications:
May be used for the management of moderately exuding, partial to full thickness wounds, including:
- Pressure ulcers
- Post-operative surgical wounds
- Traumatic wounds (eg. skin tears and secondary healing wounds)
- Diabetic, venous and arterial ulcers
- Graft and donor sites
Silicone Foam Heel (FMHEEL) may be used for the management of moderate to heavy exuding, partial to full thickness wounds on the heel.
Non-Adhesive Foam Tracheostomy (FMTRACH) may be used for the management of fluid, secretion or exudate build-up for the peristomal area created by tracheostomy tubes, other drains and tubes.
Contraindications:
Third-degree burns and lesions with active vasculitis.
