Features of Blackhawk Extension Outrigger Splint
- The preformed outrigger wire frame follows the arch of the hand and can be attached to the thermoplastic splint base (not included)
- Two outrigger frames are included and can be fitted to any size hand
- The adjuster piece mounts onto the outrigger frame to hold the extension rod
- Joint position is adjusted by rotating the adjuster piece and extension rod alignment
- Each extension rod can be shortened or lengthened to accommodate different fingers and joints
- Rod ends act as line guides so each respective finger loop holds the digit in correct alignment
- Thermoplastic and straps sold separately
- Additional replacement parts also are available
