Application of Provox Silicone Skin Adhesive
- Before first use: Push down and unscrew the transportation cap. Replace with enclosed brush cap. Close the brush cap securely
- Carefully clean and dry the skin around the stoma. (Preparing the skin with Provox Skin Barrier can help enhancing the adhesive properties and protecting sensitive skin from irritation).
- Remove excessive glue from the brush and then apply a very thin coating on the skin.
- If needed, apply a second layer of glue. Let the glue dry for at least 3 to 4 minutes before you attach a Provox Adhesive base plate.
- Close the cap securely to minimize evaporation.
- Removal: Wait for spontaneous detachment. If not possible, use Provox Adhesive Remover tissues, also when taking away residual glue.
- Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the brush cap applicator shows any sign of damage.
- In case of eye contact, immediately remove any glue in the eye with clean absorbent cloth.
- Then, hold eyelids open and flush with water for at least 15 minutes.
- Search medical attention if irritation develops or persist or if visual changes occur.
